Life in the year 2041
My day would all begin with my alarm clock ringing, but this is no average alarm clock this alarm clock has a 3-D pop up of a person who wakes you up and tells you to start your day. After I got out of bed I would walk over to my closet which would scan you for your mood and pick out which outfit best suited you for that day. Then I would teleport to campus. Once I got to campus I would use my phone to call my friend to come meet me, not an average phone though. Now cell phones are attached to your wrist and the speaker is in your ear. The battery for the phone would stay charged through the day as you stayed awake and when you went to sleep it would charge too. Once I found my friend we would teleport to class. Now in every class room in the year 2041 there would be computers installed into the desk so that students would not have the hassle of bringing their laptops back and forth. While the professor is lecturing he can have 3-D options from the computer. For example a biology professor explaining the cell could have a 3-D model pop out that he can move to show each part of the cell to the class. After class we would go to the student union and get something to eat. In the year 2041 however America is trying to cut down on obesity so when you pay a machine scans your hand and determines what portion size you should have. After we ate we would teleport back to the dorms where we would go to sleep and wait for the next day to come.

Wendy's
What I find affective in an ad is bright colors and catchy jingles. I find myself getting the jingles and slogans from commercials stuck in my head. I tend to buy products that are affordable and good for you, however I tend not to buy products that are more expensive just because of the logo or name on them. Usually I do not buy the name brand of a product I buy the generic brand because they are equally as good with only about half of the price.I am not swayed by celebrity endorsements because although a celebrity endorses something does not mean it is actually more effective then the other product it just means that the celebrity supports that product. I definitely find jingles getting stuck in my head, it usually happens when I hear them frequently. This ad attempts to persuade the audience to buy the product by showing them how much food you could get for a cheaper amount than you could get a personal trainer. Also this ad is showing a familiar face, just as we discussed in class if you were in another country and you saw the McDonald's logo you would feel better. So in this case because Wendy's is well known and established you tend to go with what their ad says. This ad is not necessarily misleading or manipulative. You can get food at Wendy's for cheaper than a personal trainer, however the results from eating a lot of it because it is so cheap could be clogged arteries and heart problems. Those illness or problems can cause you to be in the hospital, and in the end medical bills are definitely more expensive then a personal trainer. I'm thinking maybe we should just skip the Wendy's and stick with the personal trainer.

My ecological footprint.
I calculated my ecological footprint and come to find out, I need 3.8 earths and about 17 global acres of Earth's productive land in order to sustain the way that I live. A footprint is simply described as the measure of humanities demand on nature. That relates to the broader concept of sustainability because if we calculate every one's ecological footprint than we can see the pressure and demands that we as a society put on nature. If we place more pressure and demand upon the environment than the environment can handle then we will far surpass it's carrying capacity and the environment will crash. This measure can influence our life decisions because if someone were to calculate their footprint and see that they themselves are destroying the Earth they would begin to behave differently in order to save the planet that we all live on. One thing that I could do to lower my footprint is to not leave the water running in the shower to "heat up" and leave the water running while I put toothpaste on my toothbrush.

Introducing Me :)
Hello there, my name is Amber Lynne Savoie. I am eighteen years old but will be nineteen very soon, in October. I am from Lake Worth, Florida which is across the state from Ft. Myers, about two to two and a half hours. I went to Santaluces High School in Lantana, Florida. I was in the marching band and color guard all four years of high school, and my senior year I was the captain of the guard. I am the youngest of my sisters and I. My oldest sister is eight years older than me, twenty-seven; she currently lives at home with my mom. My middle sister is six years older than me, twenty-five; she lives with her husband in Hinesville, Georgia. I also have two younger siblings who are my half-brother and half-sister, my half-sister is ten years old and my half-brother is eight years old; they both live with my father. I have one more sister who is my step-sister, she is twenty four years old; and she lives in Mililani, Hawaii. I also have four nieces, one who is six years old, one who is four years old, and two new babies, one is four months old and the other is three months old. At my house I have three animals, they are all cats. Their names are Oreo, Sneakers, and Shadow, Sneakers is a unique cat because he is 19 pounds! I tend to be extremely accident prone, for example: I have broken my collar bone, I have also broken both bones in my forearm, sprained my ankle, gotten stitches in my foot, chipped my tooth, gashed my finger open, and tore the tendon that goes across the bottom of my foot and up my leg. Right now I am majoring in psychology and currently reside in north lake village. After I receive my bachelors in psychology here at FGCU I plan to go on to graduate school and obtain my masters in psychology. My dream career is to be a criminal profiler; for those of you who don’t know what that is, the easiest example of one is Dr.Wong from Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. As part of my learning experience, I would love to take a class where you learn what the expressions of the human body mean, for example: learning how to tell if someone is lying by the way they move their eyes or what they are thinking by their body language.
